Eastport Music Scene is proud to present to you a truly great American made instrument. We are offering a New Fender Eric Clapton Artist Series Stratocaster. It's cool how Eric wanted Fender to build him something rock solid and simple, yet have truly unique features. Fender really stepped up to the plate with this Pewter finished beauty. He's actually done quite a few gigs on a Strat with this finish (not just Blacky)...

Here's the skinny on this fantastic Strat... The EC features an Alder body with a polyurethane finish and a single ply white pickguard. It has a soft V, one piece Maple neck and fingerboard with a satin urethane finish and has a comfortable 9.5" radius. The frets are vintage style with black dot inlays. All pretty straight forward. Now is when things get a little more unique. Eric had Fender install an active 25db midrange boost as well as a "TBX" circuit. Add in the 3 Fender Noiseless pickups and you have something really special. TBX stands for Treble, Bass Expander. This detented, stacked 250k/1 Meg control enhances your tonal palette without the use of a battery. From 0 to 5 the TBX is a standard tone control, but once you pass 5 you start to decrease the resistance. That allows more bass, treble, presence and output to flow to your amp. Pretty cool, huh? This guitar not only sings, but it also has plenty of power when you need it. You can just about overdrive your amp with it. Other features include a vintage style bridge tailpiece with a synchronized (blocked) tremelo, Fender Gotoh style machines and chrome hardware. It also comes with a Fender vintage tweed hardshell case and all the great case candy you've come to expect and love from Fender...
